Rabla Reviews: Pokemon Moon(/Sun) [3DS] – Part One (No Spoilers)

This blog still exists and is actually still the best way for me to get my thoughts like this out there, so here we go. I’ve been playing Pokemon Moon over the last few days and with the scenario done and a majority of content down I wanted to go through some thoughts and issues with the game.

This first part will be addressing general gameplay mechanics, the Alola region, some Pokemon and a few problems that should be addressed for ‘Eclipse/Earth/whatever’. I’ll be avoiding any Main Scenario spoilers and anything notable, and those will be in a Part Two post. Continue reading “Rabla Reviews: Pokemon Moon(/Sun) [3DS] – Part One (No Spoilers)”

Rabla Reviews: TES5 Skyrim – Dragonborn [PC]

Alright, another year, another Skyrim expansion. How I’m still playing this game WITHOUT these expansions coming out is insane enough. But we’ll get to that another time.

So yes, Dragonborn. Now I know this is basically an expected feature at this point for Bethesda, but I really do have to say it.

BUGGY. AS. FUCK.

Rabla Reviews: TES5 Skyrim – Dawnguard [PC]

So Dawnguard suddenly popped up on the Steam Store last week (you might have seen me bitching on Twitter). Despite its annoying price, I went and bought it later that night anyway. The following day I woke up, got some food and a big drink, and sat down to launch into the land of Skyrim. What followed was probably one of my favourite stories in any Elder Scrolls game, and one of my favourite in any RPG ever.

I meant to do this last week but I had to recover from sitting there playing it for 17 hours with barely any stopping. So have it now.

An Introduction to RZ Reviews

As I mentioned in the Opening Post, i’m going to be doing a few reviews of stuff here.

For anyone who knows me, they’re probably aware that I don’t care for reviews in the slightest, and are probably confused at this little tidbit. Well, allow me to explain.

My reviews are not going to be in the traditional sense, where I criticise every other detail and give you a score out of whatever at the end. RZ Reviews are going to be complete opinion pieces, where I’ll give a general idea of the game/show/whatever, and then tell you what I liked about it, what I thought wasn’t too good, and from there i’ll leave it up to you whether you want to look into it further.

I’ll have a general Reviews page up later on which will link off to each one, after I actually start making them, and also list what I plan to review in the future.

Look forward to it, I guess. Ciao for nao.
